The Lucas County Auditor is the chief fiscal officer for the county under ORC Chapter 319. This office appraises every parcel of real property in Lucas County and calculates annual tax bills. Lucas County Recorder and Deeds

The Homestead Exemption removes up to $25,000 of market value from your tax bill. You must be age 65 or older or have a permanent disability. Your Ohio Modified Adjusted Gross Income must stay under $40,000. You must own and occupy the home as your primary residence.
